In the steamy sub-tropical jungles of Chitwan we enjoy bird-watching and a laidback safari by elephant-back. It is a last enduring home in Nepal for Royal Bengal Tiger, varieties of deer, Rhexus monkey, one horned Rhino, Jackals and many more whereas rivers and lakes provide shelter for crocodiles and gangetic dolphin. The fastest and safest way to explore the wide area of this park is to do a jeep drive of some 45 km. which offers a good chance of seeing Herons, Storks, Ducks, Hawks, Falcons, Parakeets Kingfisher and many more. The sharp eyes of our leader point out some of the migratory and globally threatened birds.
