Everest View Luxury Heli Trek

Day 1: Arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu

You may arrive airport at any time. Upon your arrival, Visit View Nepal Treks representatives will greet you at the airport. He will escort you to reach to your booked hotel. You may check-into your Hotel. You can relax for the rest of the day as there will not be any program today. Overnight stay Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding, Duration: 30 minutes flight and 3 hours trekking

Early morning we will take a Lukla flight from Kathmandu and the flight to Lukla is a lifetime experience in itself. The Lukla airport lies atop a hill. It is surrounded by astonishing green rolling hills. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to reach Lukla. The flight offers a scenic mountain views. Upon arrival at Lukla, you can immediately feel the air difference. The mountain air at Lukla is a lot more crisp and fresh. From Lukla, you will trek to Phakding. You can view the majestic sight of the Kusum Kangraru Mountain as you make your way towards Phakding. From Lukla, the trekking route slowly moves towards the Cheplung Village from where the view of the sacred Mount Khumbila is very beautiful. Next, we take a gradual walk downwards which leads to the town of Phakding. The Kusum Kangraru is a sacred peak that holds religious regard by the Sherpa people. Phakding is a beautiful mountain village under the Sagarmatha National Park under the UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site. There are many lodges and guesthouses in Phakding that serve to tourism in the Khumbu. Phakding is also usually the first stop for most trekkers who are making any trips in the Khumbu. Day 3: Phakding to Namche Bazaar, Duration: 6 hours

We do our breakfast and make a way to Namche Bazaar. The trail further opens out to reach the famous mountain town - Namche Bazaar. We will cross a smaller villages like Jorsale and Monjo, en route to Namche. Monjo is the entry point of the Sagarmatha National Park which lies north of Phakding. The trail travel through the national park and finally arrives at Namche. As you make your way towards the famous mountain town of Namche Bazaar, you will be walking through the park’s beautiful alpine woods. The Sagarmatha National Park is under the UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site and also, included in the Sacred Himalayan Landscape. The national park is filled with Blue Pine, Birch, and Juniper Berries. It provides shelter to many endangered species of animals like Himalayan Black Bears, the Musk Deer, Langur Monkeys, and Himalayan Thars. It contains upper catchments of the Bhote Koshi River and the Dudh Koshi River basin.  The lands is covered by the thick acreages of Pine and Cedar which provide a pleasant atmosphere to trek through. Trekkers can also view mountain peaks like the Nuptse, Lhotse, Tawache, Ama Dablam and many others. Namche Bazaar is the commercial hub of the Khumbu region, because of its strategic location. It is located on a mountainside. From here, the views of Thamserku Peak’s and the Kongdi RI Himal are unique as it is situated on a hill-side and has an amphitheater-like appearance. Houses and lodges lie at terrace-like terrain in the village. Overnight stay at Yeti Mountain Home.

Day 4: Namche to the Everest View Hotel

Today, we will visit the famed Everest View Hotel which is enlisted in the Guinness’ Book of World Records as the world’s highest located Hotel. It lies just a few minutes away from Namche Bazaar. You can get views of Mount Everest and other peaks, from all of the Hotel’s windows. It is a best place to stay and take in the beauty of the region. You can visit the Syangboche Airstrip as well, which is the highest located airstrip globally. It provides impressive views of the mountain peaks and the Namche Village. Overnight stay at the Everest View Hotel.

Day 5: Heli Tours to Everest and Fly back to Lukla

Today is an important and anticipated day of the trip. You will be having a helicopter ride over Mount Everest Base Camp. Also, you will ride over the vantage point of Kalapatthar before making your way back to Lukla. The views of the mountains and the landscape from the Helicopter are quite splendid. The remarkable sights of the giant Himalayas from an aerial view provide a new perspective on the Khumbu landscape. You can get a fantastic bird’s eye view of mountains peaks like the Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse and the Tawache, Mount Everest, and many others. As you arrive back at Lukla, you will be transferred back to your Hotel. Overnight stay at the Yeti Mountain Home in Lukla.

Day 6: Fly back to Kathmandu

Today is the last day in the magical land of the Himalayas. Leaving the magnificent charm of Lukla, you will fly back to Kathmandu. Make sure to capture the soaring Himalayas for the last time on the flight while flying back to Kathmandu. As you arrive back at Kathmandu, you will be transferred back to your Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 7: Departure from Kathmandu/Farewell

Today, you will be transferred to the airport by one of the Visit View Nepal Treks representatives, approximately three hours before your flight back, and then you will depart.
