Day 1: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu
After your arrival at Kathmandu airport, you will meet one of our staff at the airport waiting for you with a placard of the Visit View Nepal Trek. He will escort you to your trip hotel. At the hotel, we will conduct a brief meeting explaining the nature of the trip. After the meeting, we don’t have any activities planned. Thus you can rest for whole day or follow any different schedule you would like. Overnight at the Hotel in Kathamndu.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara (910m) Duration: 6-7 hours.
After breakfast, you will departure to Pokhara. The journey to Pokhara is via bus. The drive entails watching the scenic countryside landscape of Nepal. You will see distant mountain views, giant hills, rural villages, terraced farms, and fast flowing rivers throughout the trip. You will reach Pokhara after 7 hours’ drive watching this beautiful scenery. Pokhara is the city of lakes and mountain scenery. Check in the hotel. If you are energetic, go for an evening walk around the lakeside city. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 3: Pokhara to Tikhe Dhunga (1495m) Distance: 9 km, Walking Duration: 4 hours.
After breakfast, we should get ready for the long hike today. Your destination for today is Tikhe Dhunga. You will first take a drive to Nayapul via Lumle and the drive is about 90 minutes which goes through small villages.
The trekking towards Annapurna Base Camp starts from Nayapul. Get ready to hike through green hills and the flawless bamboo forest. Birethanti is the first stop of today’s hike where you can enjoy a cup of tea while watching the herds of a mule carrying goods. After short break, we continue our journey, you wander past fast flowing waterfalls, lush terraced fields, and villages. The journey is steep; thus, you will ascend through Ranghai and finally descend to Tikhedhunga. Tikhedhunga is your stop for the night. Overnight at the guest house in Tikhe Dhunga.
Day 4; Tikhe Dhunga to Ghorepani (2850m) Distance: 13 km, Walking Duration: 7 Hours.
Today you have a pretty long journey, after breakfast we head towards Ghorepani. You will cross a suspension bridge and you will come across steep stone stairs which bring you to Ulleri – a beautiful Magar town. It is a steep climb, so approach the route gently. Passing through the green pastures, you reach the crest of Ulleri hill which leads you to a campground to take a small break.
After the short brek, we continue our journey to Nangethanti, where we will do our lunch. Following the route, we will arrive at the traditional village of Ghorepani. You will be rewarded with breathtaking mountain scenery. Overnight at the guesthouse in Ghorepani.
Day 5: Hike to Poonhill then trek to Tadapani (2500m) Distance: 9km, Walking Duration: 6-7 hours.
Early morning we hike to famous Poon Hill to see the majestic sunrise view over the gigantic Annapurna massif. After soaking the wonderful sight, return back to the guesthouse. We will do our breakfast and start our hike towards Tadapani. Hike through a pleasant rhododendron forest before reaching Tadapani. Overnight at the guesthouse in Tadapani.
Day 6: Tadapani to Chhomrong village (2020m) Distance: 8.5 km, Walking Duration: 5 Hours.
Today, you hike towards Chomrong village parting from Tadapani. The route to Chhomrong is a gradual descent. It consists of crossing suspension bridges, walking past rhododendron forest, and hike along with the crop fields. The trial mostly goes through lush jungles due to which the birds will became your companion. Watching their colorful wings flap when they leap from one tree to another is a rewarding sight. Admiring these creatures, you will eventually reach Chhomrong. The village spread across the hillside with Majors Mountains such as Hiunchuli, Machhapuchre, Annapurna South towering the town. Overnight at the guesthouse in Chhomrong.
Day 7: Chhomrong to Dovan (2600m) Distance: 9 km, Walking Duration: 5 Hours.
We’ll bid the genuine hospitality of Chhomrong goodbye. We then descend towards Dovan. Today, we must approach the journey smoothly because elevation gain is quite bit more than other days. You will hike down 2500 stone steps and cross Chhomrong River. Following the route we ascend through a rocky trekking route that leads to Sinuwa village. We continue the hike through the dense forests towards Kuldahar (2540m). From here, we will descend to bamboo and take on a gradual ascend from there to Dovan. Overnight at the guesthouse in Dovan.
Day 8: Dovan to Deurali (3200m) Distance: 7.8 km, Walking Duration 4 Hours.
You begin a trek by following a serene, emerald-green forest of bamboo and rhododendron route towards Deurali. The trekking route is decorated with prayer flags giving a vibrant flair to the surrounding.
The beautiful and unique ambiance makes the journey more exciting. The forest quickly fades away, leaving a barren landscape strewn with boulders and scree in its place. After you walk by the Himalayan Hotel, you’ll know you’re getting nearer to your today’s destination. Continue climbing past this landmark to Hinku Cave. Hinku Cave was once used as a shelter and overnight stop for historical Annapurna expeditions. Today’s trek stop at Deurali. Overnight at the guesthouse in Deurali.
Day 9: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchre Base Camp (4230m) Distance: 8 km, Walking Duration: 5-6 hours.
Today is the most awaited day of our long hike. We will finally reach Annapurna Base Camp today. The day begins by climbing a riverbed and hiking up to Annapurna Sanctuary. The altitude gain is quite much today, so be careful and don’t rush the trek. The trek route also follows the Modi Khola trail and will, in due course, bring you to Macchapuchre Base Camp. We will take a break at Machhapuchre Base Camp. Admire the beauty of Himalayas that surrounds the areas. From MBC, it takes another 2 hours to reach Annapurna Base Camp. The reality of getting to the base camp becomes more prominent when giants’ views are so close towards you. The base camp is surrounded by impressive peaks of the Annapurna range and its neighboring mountains. Overnight at the teahouse in Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 10: Return from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m) Distance: 18 km, Walking Duration: 7 Hours.
After spending one night at ABC, we bid bye to the magnificent Annapurna Base Camp. We head towards Bamboo. We should be mindful of our walking pace, as we are descending to low altitude. We follow the same path to base camp, descend to Modi Khola to reach the rural village of Bamboo. The town is surrounded by mountains so take into panoramic scenery of the mountains. Overnight at the guesthouse in Bamboo.
Day 11: Return from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda Hot Spring (1780 m) Distance: 12 km, Walking Duration: 6 Hours.
We begin our trek descending to Jhinu Danda Hot spring. The trail to Jhinu Danda winds down through wooded slopes to Chomrong via Khuldighar.
The path gets steeper from Chhomrong, as it descends towards Jhinu Danda. You will visit the experimental sheep farm, which shows a glimpse of herder’s life in the mountains of Nepal. You will reach Jhinu Danda while you observing these exciting aspects of rural life.
From here, it takes 30 minutes to reach a natural hot spring. This is the best spot to decompress and let the stress of the day wash over you. Overnight at the guesthouse in Jhinu Danda.
Day 12: Return from Jhinu Danda to Pokhara.
Your trekking trip is almost over now. You’ll leave the Himalayan views behind you. We cross the suspension bridge and drive to Pokhara by jeep. It takes about 2 hours to reach Pokhara.
Day 13: Return back from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Now that your trek is complete. You’ll return to Kathmandu by tourist bus. But if you want to take a flying option then you need to pay an extra cost. The airfare to Kathamndu is USD 100 per person for one way flight. The choice is yours. Nevertheless, it would incur an additional fee. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 14: Farewell/Tour Ends
Today marks the end of the trek. Our office staff will be at your trip hotel to transfer you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your departure flight.
