Day 1: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu
You may arrive at the airport at any time. Our airport representative from Visit View Nepal Treks will welcome you and escort you to reach your booked hotel. He also give brief information on further program. You can simply relax after checking into the hotel, as we will not have any planned activities for the day. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m), Duration: 3 hours
Early morning, we will fly to Lukla experiencing awesome flight. The Lukla airport is situated at high altitude and the difference between the two ends of the airstrip is approx. 60 meters only. We will trek to Phakding from Lukla. We will pass a fascinating, green setting along with the breathtaking sight of Kusum Kangraru. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m), Duration: 6 hrs.
We follow the Dudh Koshi climbing from side to side with Himalayan pine and cedar trees. We then reach the capital set and trading post of Everest region – Namche Bazaar. Namche is famous for a historic trading post between Nepalese and Tibetan people. Nepalese and Tibetans traders exchange dried meat, salt, and textiles. Here, you can explore local markets and buy traditional crafts. From Namche you can have the first sights of Everest and other adjoining peaks. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 4: Namche Bazaar and Everest View Hotel
Today we will have an acclimatization day to get properly accustomed with high altitude. We can optionally hike to Syangboche airport. It is one of the highest airports on the earth which lies at an altitude of 3700m. We will also hike to Everest View Hotel. From here we can observe great panorama of the Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Tawache, etc. On the way return back to Namche Bazaar, we will visit Everest Photo Gallery and Sherpa Culture Museum. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 5: Trek to Tengboche (3860m), Duration: 5 hrs.
We will ascend to Tengboche, lies at an altitude of 3860m. You can experience an easy walk, and witness the view of Mount Everest on the way. We then descend deep to the Dudh Koshi Valley lying at Pungki Thanka. To reach Tengboche Monastery (3860m), we move ahead from right side of the Dudh Koshi valley. Here the wonderful views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Amadablam and its adjacent peaks will completely amaze you. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 6: Trek to Dingboche (4410m), Duration: 5 hrs.
We will trek to Dingboche which lies at an altitude of 4410m. We begin our walk by descending all the way through stunning woods and traverse Imja River departing from Tengboche. We trek all the way through the Pangboche village which is situated at the elevation of 3900m. The striking views of Mt. Amadablam, Lhotse and a lot of other peaks will amaze you. Passing by pastures, we arrive at Dingboche. Dingboche is also known as the ‘summer valley’. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 7: Dingboche to Nagerjun (5100m) and return, Duration: 6 hrs.
Today is your second acclimatization day to get used with the higher elevation. First, we will hike to Nagerjun (5100m). Nagerjun is a hill situated above Dingboche on the edges of the Chhukung valley. The trail to Nagerjun becomes steep on occasions which makes the walk challenging. From Nagerjun, you will witness the spectacular views of Thamserku (6608m), Lobuche East (6119m), Lobuche West (6145m), Kangtega (6685m), Ama Dablam (6856m), Taboche Peak (6367m), etc. On a clear day, you may also witness the world’s fifth highest mountain – Makalu. We will then return back to Dingboche. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 8: Trek to Lobuche (4910m), Duration: 5 hrs.
We move ahead form Dingboche to Lobuce, and it takes approx. 5 hours to reach Lobuche. On the way, wander along a wide floor before reaching Dughla. We continue our journey and reach Pheriche where Trekkers Aid Post is situated. It is run by western volunteer doctors which offers treatment to trekkers. Before reaching Lobuche, we will carry on walking to the valley, and the walk down to the yak pastures. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 9: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m) & back to Gorekshep (5181m), Duration: 8 hrs.
Today is the most important days of the trek. We will do a short climb through pasture, and then walk down at the Khumbu glacier. We can notice the best vantage point Kala Patthar too. Kala Patthar is a view point from where we can see the stunning southern face of Mt. Everest and the adjoining peaks. We will get to Gorekshep, walk for some hours from Lobuche from where we will make way to the Everest Base Camp. To get to the base camp we have to walk on rising and falling path. We can witness splendid view of the Khumbu icefall from the base camp. The best views from the base camp will totally amaze you. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 10: Hiking to Kalapatthar (5545m) – Gorekshep – Kathmandu by Helicopter
This is another remarkable day of the trek. Early morning, we will hike to Kala Patthar(5545m) to witness stunning sunrise view. From the viewpoint you can observe Mount Everest as well as other wonderful Himalayan range. After capturing moment in camera we will return back to Gorakshep from Kala Patthar. After breakfast, we will experience comfy helicopter ride to return back Kathmandu. The ride offers an aerial views of the stunning landscapes as well as gigantic Himalayan range. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Farewell
After breakfast, we will help you drive to Tribhuwan International Airport approximately before 3 hours of the scheduled flight.

Route Overview
Early morning you board the flight from Kathmandu airport to Lukla. The flight is quite thrilling but offers a panoramic aerial mountain view. The local guide will assist you with your trekking journey from Gorakshep to the Everest Base Camp upon your arrival at Lukla airport.
