Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu
After your arrival at Tribhuwan International airport, you will be welcomed by our representative. You will transferred to the hotel for check in, in a private vehicles. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour – Nagarkot
Today, our sightseeing tour started from the holy temple of Hindu devotees, Pashupatinath temple. Next, we head to Boudhanath, 8 km east from Kathmandu. In the afternoon, we drive to Bhaktapur. We will explore architectural temples, Golden Gate, shrines like Lion gate, and the palace of 55 windows. Then, we move towards Nagarkot to see the awesome sunrise and sunset along with spectacular view of Himalayan ranges. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Nagarkot to Kathmandu
Your day starts with the enthralling sunrise along with the magnificent mountain views. After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu and on arrival, we continue with sightseeing of Patan Durbar Square. We visit Krishna temple, Patan Durbar with Royal bath, and Hiranya Varna Mahavir – a Buddhist Monastery. Then we head to Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is a historical palace of Nepal where we see Kumari Temple (Kumari is a living goddess of Nepal), Kasthamandap etc. Eventually, we move to Swayambhunath, a Buddhist pilgrimage. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park
After breakfast, we start our journey to Chitwan. We attend a briefing program related to our jungle tour, on reaching Chitwan National Park.
13:00 PM – Lunch
16:00 PM – We do a tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village. We visit the National Park Visitor’s Centre. Next, we head to bank of Rapti River for a wonderful sunset view.
19:00 PM – You will be greeted by a cultural dance of Tharu community or slideshow presentation on almost everything in Chitwan.
20:00 PM – Enjoy your dinner. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Chitwan Jungle Tour
Today, you will just explore the jungle, wildlife and enjoy all of it.
6:00am – Wake up
6:30am – breakfast time
7:00am – Canoe ride along the Rapti river + jungle walk + you can enjoy elephant bathing on your way back
13:00pm – Enjoy your lunch.
15:00pm – Elephant Safari
20:00 – Enjoy your dinner. Overnight stay at Chitwan
Day 6: Visit Elephant Breeding Centre and transfer to Lumbini.
At morning, we will visit the Elephant Breeding Centre and we leave for Lumbini approx. 9:00 AM. It takes about 4 hours to reach Lumbini. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, where has been admired as the place of holy pilgrimage. Lumbini is a UNESCO listed world heritage site. Upon arrival Lumbini, we transfer you to the hotel, check-in and take rest for half an hour. Then we go walking through the sacred Lumbini Garden where the Buddha was born converges on the Ashoka pillar. We visit the Maya Devi Temple with its bas-relief sculpture depicting Maya Devi holding on with her right hand to a branch of pipal tree and giving birth to the infant Buddha who stand up on a lotus pedestal. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7: Lumbini to Pokhara
We drive to Pokhara passing through Tansen Palpa. Upon arrival, check in hotel. In the evening, stroll at the Shore of Fewa Lake energizes the body and circulates the blood after a long drive. The lake side becomes alive after the dark falls with the lighting of the restaurants and shops etc. The live music and a good cuisines attracts a lot of visitors. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 8: Pokhara – Sarangkot – Pokhara Sightseeing
The village Sarangkot is one of the most beautiful villages near in the Pokhara city. Early morning, we drive to Sarangkot for the sunrise view, which is located in west part of Pokhara at the height of 1,592 meter from sea level. Sarangkot is best place to see the sunrise and panorama of massive mountain range. From Sarangkot, we drive back to Pokhara, and do a sightseeing tours of Devi’s fall, Mahendra Cave, and Bindabasini Temple etc. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9: Pokhara to Kathmandu
Scenic drive back to Kathmandu. In the evening enjoy farewell dinner at a typical Nepali restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Farewell
A representative from Visit View Nepal Treks and Expedition will take you to the airport, approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight.
