Kathmandu Tour with Day Hike

Day 1: Arrival day in Nepal.

We hope you had a wonderful flight. Our office representative will meet you at the airport who will transfer you to the hotel in a private vehicle. After you are checked in, at the hotel, we shall conduct a small meeting to give your brief details about the trip. After meeting, you can relax for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Full day Kathmandu valley tours

Today you will visit UNESCO listed cultural heritage sites of Kathmandu valley. You will visit the awesome Swayambhunath stupa, commonly known as monkey temple. The stupa holds some of the greatest statues of deities from Buddhist chronology and Hindu temples. The view of the Kathmandu valley from the top of the stupa is truly wonderful.

Next stop on today’s tour is Boudhanath stupa. It is another pilgrimage site for keen Buddhist followers which also draws large young visitors.

Following the tour, we made a stop at the sacred temple of Hindu followers – Pashupatinath temple. You will be nostalgic while you are here. All the rites and rituals will capture your attention from all the other hassle that is happening around the temple.

Thereafter another destination for the day is Kathmandu Durbar Square. The tour of the medieval museum will give an insight into the historical background of Nepal. Also, the temples and the buildings around the durbar square are equally charming to percieve.

After the tour, we will drive back to our hotel.

Day 3: Day Hike to Nagarkot, 3-4 Hours

Early morning, after breakfast we will drive towards Sankhu where we start our climb to Nagarkot. On the way, we will appreciate watching towns, rice fields, and forests and meet the locals. You will finally reach the beautiful town of Nagarkot, after about 3 – 4 hours of hike. Experience the distant Himalayan view and for the view of setting sun amidst the massive snow-capped peaks. We shall call it a day. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Nagarkot

Day 4: Nagarkot – Kathmandu with sightseeing tours of Bhaktapur and Patan

Be ready to capture the first ray of the day falls on the giant mountains coloring it in the shade of orange. On a clear weather, you will be able to see the panoramic views of mountains like Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, Manaslu range, Gaurishankar Himal, Cho – Oyu, Mt. Everest, and many more.

To get the distant view of Mount Everest, Nagarkot is the nearest place from Kathmandu. You can enjoy the glorious mountain views and sunrise. With an astonishing memory of the wonderful mountain vistas we will drive back to Kathmandu with extensive visits of the Bhaktapur. You will explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square where a palace of 55 windows, The National Art Gallery, The Golden Gate, Nyatapola Temple, the Taleju Temple and more will present a wonderful experience. The mixture of shikhara and pagoda styled temple and the art and architecture fascinate any visitor.

Next, we will investigate around Patan Durbar Square in Patan. In the Durbar Square, we will visit the Krishna Mandir, the Golden Window, Golden Gate, Sundari chowk, Char Narayan sanctuary, the celebrated Krishna sanctuary, with uncommon workmanship and architecture.

After completion of today tour you will be transferred to the hotel, get freshened up. We shall head for a farewell cultural dinner. At the dinner, various dances representing different ethnic communities will be presented.

Day 5: Departure / Tour Ends

Our office representative will be at your hotel to pick you up, approx. 3 hours before your departure time. He shall smoothly drive you to Kathmandu airport for your flight back home.
